What Inspires Us

Everything we do is shaped by three simple ideas that have guided Phoenix from the very beginning. They aren’t programmes or services, they’re the values that influence how we create opportunities every day.

Supporting children, families and communities in ways that are meaningful, inclusive and memorable. 

At Phoenix, no two days are ever the same. One day we may be visiting a care home with our miniature donkeys, the next we might be welcoming a community group for a paddock picnic, supporting a family through our Opportunity Fund, or helping young people connect with nature through Flourish with Phoenix. 

Everything we do is guided by the same simple belief: Everyone deserves opportunities to connect, belong and flourish. 

Meet Our Animals

Our animals are much-loved members of the Phoenix family. From miniature ponies and donkeys to alpacas, reindeer and Chester the therapy dog, they help create moments of joy, comfort and connection wherever they go. 

Community Visits

Sometimes Phoenix visits you. For many years our animals have travelled to schools, hospitals, hospices, care homes, universities, celebrations and community events, bringing smiles, conversation and memorable experiences to people of all ages. 

Opportunity Fund

We believe everyone should have access to meaningful experiences. Our Opportunity Fund helps provide support for children, families and communities who may otherwise struggle to access opportunities that enhance wellbeing, confidence and connection. 

Flourish with Phoenix

Flourish with Phoenix works hand in hand with The Phoenix Children’s Foundation. Whilst each organisation has its own distinct purpose, they share the same commitment to creating opportunities through nature, animals and community.
